Dashboard Overview

The Church Admin dashboard is the central hub for managing all aspects of your church on FlockSuite. Upon login, admins see key metrics and quick actions at a glance.

Member Count

Total number of registered church members.

Financial Summary

Quick view of total offerings, donations, and expenses for the current period.

Upcoming Events

Next events on the church calendar with quick links.

Attendance Trends

Charts showing attendance patterns over recent weeks.

Roles & Permissions

FlockSuite uses a fine-grained, role-based access control system. Church admins can create custom roles and assign specific permissions to control what each user can access.

How to: Create a Custom Role

  1. Navigate to Settings → Roles & Permissions.
  2. Click Add New Role.
  3. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Usher Team Lead").
  4. Toggle the specific permissions for that role (e.g., enable "view_members" but disable "edit_members").
  5. Click Save Role.
Important: The admin role has full access to all church features. Be careful when assigning this role — use custom roles with limited permissions for most staff.

User Management

Manage all users within your church, including their profiles, roles, status, and access levels.

How to: Add a New Member

There are two ways to add members to your church:

  • Manual Creation: Go to Users → All Users, click "Add New User", and fill in their details manually.
  • Self-Registration (Invite Link): Copy your church's unique Invite Link from the dashboard and share it via WhatsApp or Email. Members can then create their own accounts.
User Limits: Each plan has a maximum number of users. You can monitor your current usage via the "Users Distribution" chart on your main dashboard.

Church Settings

Configure your church's profile and operational settings from Settings → Church Settings.

Setting Description
Church Name Your church's display name across the platform
Logo & Branding Upload church logo and configure branding colors
Address & Contact Physical address, phone, email, and website
Currency Default currency for financial transactions
Timezone Set the timezone for event scheduling and timestamps
Social Media Links to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

Website CMS

Manage your public-facing website from Website CMS → Settings.

How to: Update Website Banner

  1. Go to Website CMS → Settings.
  2. Under the "Appearance" tab, look for the Hero Banner section.
  3. Upload a high-quality image (recommended 1920x600px).
  4. Add a "Hero Title" and "Hero Subtitle" that reflects your church's vision.
  5. Click Update Settings to see the changes live on your public URL.

HR & Payroll

Manage church staff, employees, and payroll operations directly within FlockSuite.

Employees

Register staff with employment details, department, position, start date, and salary information.

Departments

Create organizational departments and assign employees to the correct teams.

Payroll & Payslips

Generate payroll, define salary components, and issue payslips to employees.

Leave Management

Configure leave types, approve/reject leave requests, and track leave balances.
