Donations, Campaigns, Pledges, and Financial Reports

Offerings & Tithes

FlockSuite provides a robust system for recording and managing all types of church offerings, tithes, and other financial contributions both online and offline.

Online Giving

Members and visitors can give online through the church's public page at /give/{church-slug}. The giving form supports:

  • Multiple offering categories (Tithe, Offering, Seed, Building Fund, etc.)
  • Member ID validation for identified givers
  • Anonymous giving for visitors
  • Payment processing via Paystack or Stripe
  • Automated email receipts upon successful transactions

Offering Categories

Church admins can create custom offering categories to classify donations. Navigate to Finance → Offering Categories to manage them.

Recording Offline Offerings

Manually record cash and check offerings through the admin dashboard under Finance → Offerings. Each record includes donor information, amount, category, date, and optional notes.

Campaigns & Fundraising

Launch fundraising campaigns for specific church projects and track progress toward financial goals.

Campaign Creation

Set campaign title, description, target amount, start/end dates, and featured image.

Online Donations

Supporters can donate directly from the public campaign page with secure payment processing.

Pledges

Members can make pledges to give at a future date, with tracking and fulfillment monitoring.

Progress Tracking

Visual progress bars showing donation amounts vs. campaign goal in real-time.

Public visitors can browse all active campaigns at /campaigns and view individual campaign details at /campaign/{church_id}/{slug}.

Pledges

Manage financial pledges made by members toward campaigns or general church projects.

  • Record pledges with member, amount, due date, and associated campaign
  • Track pledge fulfillment status (pending, partially fulfilled, completed)
  • Send reminders for upcoming or overdue pledges
  • Generate pledge reports by member, campaign, or date range

Donations

View and manage all donation records across the church. Each donation is linked to a donor (or marked anonymous), categorized, and timestamped for reporting purposes.

Expenses

Track church expenditures for full financial transparency and accountability.

  • Expense Categories — Create categories like Utilities, Maintenance, Salaries, Missions, Equipment, etc.
  • Expense Records — Log each expense with amount, date, category, description, and receipt/attachment.
  • Approval Workflow — Expenses can be reviewed and approved by authorized personnel.

Accounts & Transfers

Manage church bank accounts and record inter-account transfers for proper fund management.

  • Create multiple financial accounts (Main Account, Building Fund, Mission Fund, etc.)
  • Record transfers between accounts with notes and timestamps
  • Track running balances per account

Financial Reports

Generate comprehensive financial reports to understand your church's financial health.

  • Income vs. Expense summary reports
  • Offering reports by category, date range, or member
  • Campaign performance reports
  • Pledge fulfillment reports
  • Exportable reports for board meetings and audits
Access financial reports from Finance → Reports in the admin dashboard. Reports can be filtered by date range and exported for record-keeping.

Payment Methods

Configure accepted payment methods for the church. FlockSuite supports multiple payment gateways that can be configured from the Super Admin settings panel.
