Schedule events, manage bookings, and share sermons

Events

The event management module empowers churches to create, promote, and manage events of all types — from Sunday worship to conferences, retreats, youth camps, and community outreach.

Creating Events

  1. Navigate to Events

    In your admin dashboard, go to Events → All Events and click "Create Event".

  2. Fill in Event Details

    Provide the event title, description, start and end dates/times, location, and a featured image.

  3. Set Ticketing (Optional)

    Configure ticket types (free or paid), prices, and available quantity. Add coupon codes for discounts.

  4. Publish the Event

    Save and publish. The event will appear on the public /events listing page.

Event Features

Wishlist

Users can bookmark events to their wishlist for easy access later.

Bookings & Tickets

Track event bookings with attendee information and payment status.

Coupons

Create discount coupons for paid events with percentage or fixed-amount discounts.

Location Filtering

Events support country, state, and city-based location filtering for discovery.

Public Event Pages

Events are publicly accessible at the following URLs:

  • /events — Browse all published events with search and filter
  • /event-details/{slug}/{id} — View full event details and register/purchase tickets

Sermons

Share the Word with your congregation and the world through FlockSuite's sermon management module. Upload, organize, and stream sermons with full media support.

Managing Sermons

  • Create Sermons — Add a sermon with title, preacher, description, date, featured image, and category.
  • Sermon Media — Attach audio and video files to each sermon. Supports multiple media types per sermon.
  • Sermon Series — Organize sermons into series (e.g., "Faith Series", "Marriage Masterclass") for sequential listening.
  • Sermon Categories — Classify sermons by topic (e.g., Faith, Prayer, Leadership, Family).
  • Media Downloads — Enable or disable downloads for sermon audio/video files.

AI Sermon Preparation

FlockSuite includes an AI Sermon Preparation tool that helps pastors generate sermon outlines, key points, and illustrations using AI assistance. Access it from the admin dashboard under AI Tools → Sermon Preparation.

Public Sermon Pages

Sermons are publicly accessible for anyone to browse and listen:

  • /sermons — Browse all sermons with search, filtering by preacher, series, and category
  • /sermons/details/{churchId}/{slug} — View sermon details and play media
  • /church/{slug}/sermons — View all sermons from a specific church
  • /preachers/{slug} — View sermons by a specific preacher
  • /series/{slug} — View sermons in a specific series
  • /categories/{slug} — View sermons in a specific category
